StapLearn is a school-connected educational platform that allows students to create, share, and sell educational resources with oversight from parents and schools.

2. Privacy Policy by Grade Level

StapLearn for K–8

StapLearn for K–8 is designed for younger students and follows enhanced privacy protections. Students do not independently create accounts or manage stores.

Information we may collect:

• Parent or guardian name and email address
• Educational resources created by students
• Parent-managed Payhip store information
• PayPal email used by parents to receive earnings
• School name and school contact email
• Payhip earning report for school

We do not collect:

• Student email addresses
• Student phone numbers or home addresses
• Sensitive personal identifiers

StapLearn for High School (9–12)

StapLearn for High School supports greater student independence while maintaining school oversight.

Information we may collect:

• Educational resources created by students
• Student- or parent-managed Payhip store information
• PayPal email used for earnings distribution
• School name and school contact email
• Payhip earning report for school

3. StapleShare & Video Content

StapleShare features short-form educational videos (“Clips”) created by students. StapLearn does not host video files directly.

• Videos are uploaded to YouTube by students, parents, or schools
• StapLearn embeds approved YouTube Shorts on the platform
• StapLearn does not collect YouTube account login information

4. How We Use Information

• Reviewing and displaying educational content
• Operating StapLearn school and global marketplaces
• Communicating with schools, parents, and students
• Providing earnings visibility and reports to schools
• Maintaining platform safety and compliance

5. Third-Party Services

• Payhip – hosting and selling student-created resources
• PayPal – distributing earnings
• YouTube – hosting video content
• Google Calendar – optional scheduling (High School only)

6. Data Retention & Rights

Information is retained only as long as necessary to operate the platform. Users may request access to, correction of, or deletion of stored data at any time.
